It began in late 2005, when Rich, Gabe and Kevin put a plan in place to produce a benefit show for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.  Rich HAD come across some old tunes that he and X used to play, and he asked X if he wanted to have some fun and jump on the show. 

 

"We just did that show to have some fun," says vocalist Rich Araujo.

"After the show, we kept being asked 2 questions," says bassist Kevin Garcia,

"'Where are your CDs?'

'When are you guys playing again?'"

Although the guys were up for playing more, Rich wasn't really up for it.  

But an idea hit him, and he presented it to the guys who were all for it.

The plan was to use the band as a platform to help the homeless, and thus, Just A Theory was born.

The next few years, the band played in venues in SoCal, and our fans were amazing in bringing bags and boxes of food to the shows.

We took a break for a while, but we're back........for a reason.
